MatheMagics : I know what you're thinking

Hello visitors, 
 Today, In this session, I’m going to share a Mathematics trick which is very known to most of the Mathematics Learners.
For most of the peoples, It seems as a Magic. That’s why I use to tell this type of tricks “MatheMagics”
So, Let’s begin the session! 

Note : This trick is based on ‘algebraic sums’. If you don’t know what ‘algebraic sums’ are, then visit our article on “ALGEBRA”. 

Step I : Think any positive integer.
E.g :  7

Step II : Now, add 5 to it. 
E.g : 7 + 5 = 12

Step III : Now subtract 2 from result.
E.g : 12 – 2 = 10 

Step IV : Now, subtract the number what you have taken from result. 
E.g : I’ve thought ‘7’ . Now I’ll subtract 7 from 10
      10 – 7 = 3 

Step V : Now, Add 3 to result.
E.g : 3 + 3 = 6 

Yes!   6  is your answer.

Is it? If yes, Then COMMENT down. 


Now Let’s learn how this works ? 

If you’ve supposed the number x .
Then, In second step, you had to add 5 with your number. 
Then you got x + 5 . 
In third step, you were asked to subtract 2
You had found : x + 5 - 2 = x + 3 
Then, In fourth one, you were asked to subtract the number what you have supposed. Then,  x + 3 - x = 3 
Then, In last one, You were asked to add 3 then, 3 + 3 = 6 

It was your answer.

Mathematics : Relation between zeroes and coefficient of a polynomial.

Relationship between zeroes and coefficients of a linear polynomial Today we are going to learn the relationship between "zeroes" and "coefficients" of a linear and quadratic polynomial.  As we know that the general form of a linear polynomial is as following :  ax + b  , where a≠0 , a and b are real numbers and x is a variable.  So, from here we can say that the zero of a linear polynomial will ax + b = 0  ax = –b  x = –b/a  So, for any linear polynomial, say ax + b , the zero of polynomial will –b/a  So, here b is a constant term where a is coefficient of x  Hence,  Zero of a linear polynomial =  –(Constant term)/Coefficient of x  Let's take some examples.  Let consider 3x + 8  We know that  3x + 8 = 0  3x = –8  x = –8/3  Here zero of polynomial p(x) = 3x + 8 is –8/3 But as we proved that zero of a linear polynomial =  –(Constant term)/Coefficient of x So,  Here , Constant term = 8...
